This is in continuation to Council’s general circular dated 01st March 2019 inviting application of member exporters for participation in Heimtextil Russia,17-19 September 2019. Council is pleased to inform that fair authority has accepted industry demand of reduced stall size of 6 sq.mtr for participation.

1.About Heimtextil Russia
The Heimtextil Russia one of the most innovative and most important trade fairs for home textiles and accessories, is held once a year in Moscow. It is regarded as a trendsetter in the context of textile design and brings together producers, designers, architects with wholesalers and retailers. The Heimtextil Russia shows current trends, tendencies and highlights of the home textile industry in the fields of bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, window decoration, wall decoration, upholstery, carpets and sun protection. Heimtextil Russia 2018 took place in Pavilion 1 of IEC Crocus Expo and gathered on its grounds 229 participants from 19 countries. More than 17000 buyers, distributors, importers, designers, representatives of retail chains and contract business from Russia and the CIS countries visited the fair grounds. The fair is accompanied by numerous workshops with famous Russian and European designers.
HEPC will be participating in the upcoming edition of “Heimtextil Russia”– a fair for Home Textiles, Floor Coverings., to be held in Moscow during 17-19th September 2019. The exhibition is the ideal platform to learn about the latest creations, build and strengthen business relationships and generate revenue.

2.Details of participation in Heimtextil Russia, Sep 2019 are as below:

For this upcoming edition to be held during 17-19th September 2019, Council has proposed to organize participation in this event as per annual action plan 2019-20 availing financial grant from the Ministry. The proposal is being processed in the Ministry and awaiting approval.

3.Participation fee details:

Please note that the stand sizes are available only on a minimum area of 6 sq.m and in multiples of 3 sq.m thereafter

The participation fee has to be paid in full as per the subsidized rate for the space required along with the application accordingly.

4.Grant Eligibility

HEPC has proposed participation in this fair under National Handloom Development Programme of Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms) and the approval is awaited from the Ministry.

• Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair.
• Participants with annual export turnover of less than Rs.30 crore in the preceding financial year (2018-19) will be eligible for subsidized participation charges.
• Each participant company (for one person) will also be eligible for Travel grant reimbursement of Rs.50,000/- (Economy class) or actual travel cost, whichever is less subject to approval from Ministry.

• Subsidized participation in only one event in a calendar month is allowed and a maximum of 3 events in a year.

5.Selection Criteria

Selection will be on First Come First Served basis. Preference will be given to registered holders of India Handloom Brand & first-time participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (6 participants) IHB / first time member exhibitors in the event. Interested member exporters of handloom products may send their full participation fee (as per subsidized rate) along with application to the council on or before last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular. In case of approval from Ministry, subsidized participation fee will be considered and the balance fee will be reimbursed / collected.

Further it is requested to submit an undertaking form (format enclosed) for participation in the event at non-subsidized charges if no approval is received from ministry.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES:

• Open display of “price tags” and “Stock lot” tags on samples on display in the booth
• Sale of stock lot in the booth
• Encroaching on AISLE area and other activities which affect co-exhibitors
• Subletting the allotted stall.

 6. Payment details

Payment has to be made through any one of the following mode of payment.

1.0 About Index Dubai Series:

Index Dubai is the best interior design exhibition. The event is organized by dmg Events and the event is attended by nearly 27500 most inspired, creative and influential members of design community. Being a part of INDEX means being a part of Design & Hospitality week 2019. The biggest and most important celebration of all things of Design & Hospitality in GCC.

1.2 Importance of doing business in the Middle East:

• The overall budget spending of the GCC countries increased to US$ 430 billion in 2018 registering 7% growth from 2017.
• Overall GCC interior contracting and fit out spend across all sector is forecast to grow by 9% in 2019 and is estimated to be worth US$ 8.7 billion by end of the year.
• GCC has firmly established itself as one of the leading and most exciting tourist destinations in the world.
• The GCC building construction projects expected to be completed across all sectors are forecast to increase to US$ 77 billion in 2019.

2.0 Participation fee details:

Please note that the stand sizes are available only from 6 sq.m and in multiples of 3 sq.m thereafter.

3.0 Grant eligibility

The event is organised under Market Access Initiative scheme of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.

• Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).

• Maximum of two MAI events in a year is allowed for each member participant.

Further, the participants who had completed 12 months of membership with the council and having exports upto FOB Value of Rs.30 crore in preceding year will be entitled for a travel grant reimbursement for the travel of Regular director/Partner/Proprietor of the company upto Rs.70000/- (economy class air travel) or actual (whichever is less) or lumpsum amount whichever is to be approved by Ministry.

4.0 Selection Criteria

Selection will be on First Come First Served basis. Preference will be given to registered holders of India Handloom Brand & first-time participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (6 participants) IHB / first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications along with required payment are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

 Open display of “price tags” and “Stock lot” tags on samples on display in the booth
 Sale of stock lot in the booth

Dear Sir/Madam,

Sub: Renewal of Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC)  – Reg.

As per our record, please note that the RCMC issued by Council has already been expired.  Hence, you are requested to apply for renewal of RCMC through online mode and the link for the same is http://rcmc.hepcindia.com/portal/welcome/renewal.   

Please note the following points before submission of online application :

1. 1.   If you like to renew existing RCMC with out amendment, please select the option “No” in the “RCMC renewal with amendment” option and otherwise select yes option. For any amendment in RCMC, Necessary payment of Rs.590/- has to be made online transfer and payment transfer details should be given in application, those who are willing to amend the existing RCMC.

2. 2.  If you are a manufacturer exporter as per existing RCMC, please enter the SSI certificate number in “DIC/ DH / Udyog Aadhar Registration No.” and upload SSI certificate in respective column. If you enter Udyog aadhar, then it is also mandatory to upload the affidavit in the respective column as per the format mentioned in the (http://rcmc.hepcindia.com/portal/welcome/instructions)

3.       If the firm is PVT/Public LTD/Society, all directors name should be entered in the respective column, as per IEC.

As per the Import Export code (IEC) only, Council issue RCMC. Hence, amendments if any, have to be incorporated in IEC, before submitting the application.

Sub : Inviting application for participation in Maison & Objet to be held at Paris, from 6-10 September 2019– Reg.

1. About Maison & Objet

MAISON & OBJET is an international window for creativity and unique market place in the industry. Partnership between retailers and brands are formed in its aisles. Over the years, the event has asserted itself as a veritable playing field for the business of creativity and innovation.

The success of MAISON & OBJET always relied on the breadth of its offering.  More than 20 yrs after its inception, the fair has revealed a brand new structure.  During September 2018, the fair witnessed 76502 unique visitors from 171 countries including 31928 non-French visitors and 44574 French visitors.  On the whole, there were 3112 exhibiting brands, which is inclusive of 647 new brands.  72 countries represented in the event, of which, 1238 were French exhibitors and 1874 were non-French exhibitors.

The event has following product segments

Hall 1 : Smart gifts – gift products

Hall 2 : Fashion accessories – from bags to scarves, from jewelry to clothes

             Kids & Family – decoration objects, furniture, textiles and toys

Hall 3 : Look & Share – cooking, entertaining, giving and lifestyle products

Hall 4, 5A, 5B : Home accessories – novelty, uniform products, interior products,  home fragrances, home linen, bedlinen, table       linen & bath linen

Hall 6  : Unique & Eclectic – Decorative objects, furniture

Hall 7  : Forever – luxury brands, decoration concepts

2. Participation fee details:

Please note that the stand sizes are available only in 9 sq.m and in multiples of 3sq.m thereafter

In case of approval from Ministry, subsidized participation fee will be considered and the fee will be reimbursed / collected accordingly.

3.Grant Eligibility

HEPC has proposed participation in this fair under National Handloom Development Programme of Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms) and the approval is awaited from the Ministry.

• Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair.
• Participants with annual export turnover of less than Rs.30 crore in the preceding financial year (2018-19) will be eligible for subsidized participation charges.
• Each participant company (for one person) will also be eligible for Travel grant reimbursement of Rs.50,000/- (Economy class) or actual travel cost, whichever is less subject to approval from Ministry.
• Subsidized participation in only one event in a calendar month is allowed and a maximum of 3 events in a year.

4.Selection Criteria

Selection will be on First Come First Served basis.  Preference will be given to registered holders of India Handloom Brand & first-time participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (6 participants) IHB / first time member exhibitors in the event. Interested member exporters of handloom products may send their fair 50% participation fee (subsidized rate)  as per the space requirement along with application to the council on or before last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

Further it is requested to submit an undertaking form (format enclosed) for participation in the event at non-subsidized charges if no approval is received from ministry.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES: 

•  Open display of “price tags” and “Stock lot” tags on samples on display in the booth.
• Sale of stock lot in the booth.
• Encroaching on AISLE area and other activities which affect co-exhibitors
• Subletting the allotted stall.

5.Payment details

Payment has to be made through any one of the following mode of payment.

Option-1: Online payment through payment gateway

Option-2: Payment through RTGS

Option-3: Payment through Demand Draft/at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if online/RTGS payment is not feasible.

Payment received without undertaking form will not be considered for allotment. Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.
