Sub: Certificate of Origin of goods for EU’s Generalised scheme of Preference (GSP) with REX system – reg.
Council has received circular from Ministry that the European Union is replacing the current system of Certificates of Origin (Form A), with system of self-certification of origin of goods by the exporters themselves using Statement of Origin and India has opted to switch over to the new system w.e.f.01.01.2017.
A concept note on certificate of origin for EU’s GSP received from ministry is enclosed herewith for your information.
You may also circulate this to local users whom you will be approaching for registration in the REX system.
