Invite your buyers to your booth at India International Handwoven fair 2016

Dear Members/ RTEs,

Avail the opportunity to invite your buyers to your booth at India International Handwoven fair 2016 to be held at Chennai from 9th to 11th March 2016 at with hospitality package being provided by Council.

As you aware, Council is organizing the 6th edition of India International Hand-woven Fair, at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, Tamilnadu, from 9-11th March2016. HEPC has already established links with the overseas buyers across the globe and it is expected that major buyers from different parts of the world will visit this fair to source their products. Apart from above, Council is also providing an opportunity to invite your buyers / buying agents to your booth at IIHF-2016. The following hospitality packages will be provided to the foreign buyers / foreign buying agents :

Buyers selected and approved by the Fair Committee will be eligible for the following complimentary package:

i?? Restricted economy class onward and return airfare.
i?? Hotel accommodation for upto three nights during the fair.

The guidelines for reimbursement of air fare and hotel accommodation are as follows:
1. Each company will be entitled to get one restricted economy onward and return airfare for one person only.
2. The air ticket has to be purchased by the buyer at his/her own cost. The buyer will be reimbursed the cost of his/her air ticket after the fair.
3. The Ministry has given an upper limit for airfare reimbursement amount for each country. HEPC will reimburse actual ticket cost or the prescribed upper limit whichever is lower.
4. The upper limit for airfare reimbursement for various countries are as mentioned below:
1 North America US$ 1200
2 South America US$ 1200
3 Europe Euro 850
4 Middle East US$ 450
5 ASEAN+2, Asia US$ 900
6 CIS US$ 700
7 Africa US$ 900
8 Japan US$ 900

5. The components for which support shall be provided are complimentary two nights or three nights hotel stay (only lodging) as preferred by the visiting Buyer with complimentary breakfast and airport pickup and drop.

Interested member exporters may invite their buyers by requesting the buyer to submit the registration form as per the format enclosed herewith either directly to Council or forwarded through our office.
