Sub: Inviting applications from member exporters for participation in 27^th India Home Furnishing Fair, held at Osaka, Japan during 20-22 ^nd July 2016 Reg.

After successful participation in 26^th edition of India Home Furnishing Fair, Council proposes to participate in 27^th edition of the
event being organized by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) at Mydome, Osaka, Japan, during 20-22^nd July2016.

The India Home Furnishing Fair will feature a wide range of Home Furnishing and made ups, Cushion covers, floor mats, curtain & Embellishments ,bed
linen/bed cover/spreads, table linen, kitchen linen, Bathroom linen, Napkins, durries, rugs interior fabrics, Handloom clothing textile based handicrafts
and other allied products. The event is organized along side 37^th India Garment Fair. Council will be taking few booths under Garment Fair as
well. These two annual events of ITPO have been successfully organized for more than 2 decades and have acquired recognition among buyers.. The twin fairs
have proved to be catalysts in promoting Indias stake in the quality conscious Japanese market.

During 2015 edition 2111 business visitors registered. The trade visitors were from a cross-section of companies who have always patronized these B2B
events. No retail sale is permitted in these events. 100 Indian Companies displayed their products in these exclusive India Shows in 2015.

Handloom Export Promotion Council has actively been supporting this event and 29 exhibitors took part in this event under the aegis of Council in 2015
edition.

The facilities to be provided this year will be fully furnished booth, internet/Wi-Fi connectivity at the venue, Photocopying, interpreters and services of
decorators for a stipulated period on the set up day, complimentary water/tea/coffee, wide publicity of the shows in the print and electronic media/press
conferences, computerized registration of buyers/ visitors, Seminars, culture programmes etc.

Participation fee details:

Council is offering pre-equipped shell scheme stalls both in India Home furnishing Fair (Hometextiles products) and India Garment Fair (Clothing

accessories like stoles, scarves, shawls, etc.,) as per the details given below:

Grant Eligibility
A� HEPC will be participating in this fair under MAI Scheme.

• Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular
  trade fair (including past cases).

• Maximum of two MAI events in a year is allowed for each member participant.

A� Participation in only one event in a calendar month is allowed.

A� No other subsidy including travel grant is permissible.

A� No limitation in terms of export turnover.

Selection Creteria:

Selection of participants will be considered on First come First Serve basis.

Payment details:

Interested member exporters of handloom products may send the initial participation fee of 50% of total participation charges for the required space

along with application (

for downloading form),

the council on or before 03-05-2016. The payment has to be made by Demand Draft or at par Multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion
Council payable at Chennai, or the payment can be transferred online to the following account of HEPC:
