Sub : Inviting application for participation in Maison & Objet to be held at Paris, from 20-24 , January 2017– Reg.

1. About Maison & Objet
MAISON & OBJET is an international window for creativity and unique market place in the industry. Partnership between retailers and brands are formed in its aisles. Over the years, the event has asserted itself as a veritable playing field for the business of creativity and innovation.

2. MAISON & OBJET – September 2016
The display offer at Maison & Objet was organized in three major sections viz. MAISON, OBJET and INFLUENCES. Textile products were offered as part of MAISON section. A collaboration between COOK+DESIGN and EASY LIVING were offered in the OBJET section. As part of INFLUENCES premium solutions featuring notably the DESIGNER’s STUDIO were offered.

MAISON – meant for 100% interior decoration inspired by decoration; furniture and small accent pieces, lighting and fabrics. Familiar and foreign styles spreading across Hall1 (ECLECTIC), Hall2 (COSY), Hall3/4 (ELEGANT), Hall5A (FRAGRANCES & COMPLEMENTS) and Hall5B (ACTUEL) intermingled elegantly to the delight of even the most demanding visitors.

OBJET – From smart gadgets to kitchen utensils, from perfume to fashion accessories that enrich interiors were offered in Hall 5A (CRAFT), 5A / 6 (COOK +DESIGN, EASY LIVIGNG, KIDS, FASHION).

INFLUENCES – Location for prestige and uniqueness. Creativity, innovation and technical solutions came together to create a temple of design and luxury lifestyle products in Hall 7 (GALLERY) and Hall 8 (PROJECTS) and reached out to buyers from all over the world.

The next edition of International Home Décor exhibition MAISON&OBJET is scheduled to be held in Paris, France during 20-24 , January 2017.

3. Participation Fee:

Subsidised rate for a stand in Handloom Pavilion – Rs.2,07,000

Additional Corner charges (if applicable) – Rs.20,000

3.1 Payment details :

Interested member exporters of handloom products may send their full participation fee along with application (application downloadable from http://homesite.hepcindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Application-FORM-International-2016-17-.pdf.) to the council on or before last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular. Payment has to be made through any one of the following mode of payment.

Option-1: Online payment through payment gateway
Option-2: Payment through RTGS:
Option-3: Payment through Demand Draft/at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if online/RTGS payment is not feasible.

Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.

Application received without payment will be invalid.

3.2 Grant Details :

HEPC has proposed participation in this fair under National Handloom Development Programme of Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms).

• Participants with annual export turnover of less than Rs.30 crore in the preceding financial year ( 2015-16) and having minimum 12 months membership with the Council will be eligible for subsidized participation charges .
• Each participant company (for one person) will also be eligible for Travel grant reimbursement of Rs.50,000/- (Economy class) or actual travel cost, whichever is less.
• Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).

• Participation in only one event in a calendar month is allowed.

4.0 Selection Criteria:

Application received without payment will be invalid. Selection of participants will be considered on First come First Serve basis. However, preference will be given to India Handloom Brand registered holders and first time member participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (three) India Handloom Brand Holders / first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

Preference will be given to those who have already submitted their Expression Of Interest along with advance payment provided they send their application along with balance payment on or before the last date as stipulated below
