Sub: Inviting application for participation in 6th edition of India International Hand-woven Fair at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, Tamilnadu, from 9th to 11th March 2016 Reg.

With its five consecutive successful earlier editions, India International Handwoven Fair (IIHF) being organized by Handloom Export Promotion Council has registered a mark in International Calender of events, with an attendance of buyers from over 30 countries and around 200 exhibitors from all over India.

IIHF-2016 :

Consequent on the success of the 5th edition of India International Handwoven Fair held during 2015, Handloom Export Promotion Council is organizing the 6th edition of India International Hand-woven Fair, at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, Tamilnadu, from 9-11th March2016.

HEPC has already established links with the overseas buyers across the globe and it is expected that major buyers from different parts of the world will visit this fair to source their products. Buyers are expected from USA, Europe, Asia, CIS & LAC countries. About 150 buyers including buying agents from different countries will be attending the event.

STAND PACKAGE :

Minimum Booth area offered- 9 sq.mtrs

Additional space is offered in multiples of 3 sq.mtrs thereafter

Subsidized participation fee for a pre equipped standard booth – Rs.4000/- per sq.mtre plus 14.5% Service Tax (Service tax is applicable as per Govt. regulations)

10% Corner charges will be additional for two side open booth ( subject to availability)
15% Corner charges will be additional for three side open ( subject to availability)

As a special promotion measure , the Council is offering the participants other than Tamil Nadu a lump sum amount of Rs.3000/- as reimbursement of travel / freight charges on completion of participation in the event .

*- Please note that the participation fee is already subsidized one and no further grant will be available

Marketing features:

Council has a dedicated webpage in its website www.hepcindia.com for this event and wide publicity is being undertaken by the Council in print & electronic media inviting trade visitors mainly Importers through spot registration during Councils fair participation abroad / Chamber of commerce abroad / Trade portal / Indian mission abroad / Foreign mission in India. You can avail a free listing in this website and invite the attention of buyers by submitting your early application for participation in this event. Further, you can also avail the opportunity of getting your profile circulated to Indian Consulates abroad, Chambers of Commerce, etc.

MODE OF PAYMENT :

Interested members may, therefore, avail this excellent opportunity to increase their business by participating in this event by sending the application form (please download the national fair application from the link http://homesite.hepcindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Application-form-National-Fair-2015-16.pdf ) along with DD / Multicity cheque for the requisite amount in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council, payable at Chennai, on or before 31st December 2015.

Please note that application of member exporters will be considered on the basis of First Come First Served basis subject to space availability with HEPC. No refund of participation charges will be considered under any circumstance.
