About Textil House Fair:

The 9^th edition of Textil House Fair is one of the important events to enter in Brazil / Latin American Market. This fair is a
B2B textile articles trade show for home decoration in Latin America. Brazil is the 7^th largest economy in the world, 5^th largest
country by population with over 200 million residents in which 114 million residents are middle class, with 43 million residents in Sao Paulo is 7^th biggest city in the world with more than 12 million residents. Sao Paulo is 5^th largest textiles industry in the world and 4 ^th largest clothing manufacturing industry.

1.1 Products profile:

Textil House fair features many product groups to help visitors find the specific products they are looking to source.

1.2 Previous edition performance:

9 exporters had participated in the last edition by displaying entire range of home textile products such as Curtains, Cushions, Throws, Table linen,
Kitchen linen, Beddings, Bath mats, Rugs, Durries, Floor coverings, Napkins, Chair pads, Beach mattresses, etc. 210 visitors had visited them. Spot orders
worth of Rs.1.84 crore and business enquiries worth of Rs.5.13 crore were generated. According to fair authority, last year 30000 visitors from 14590
companies have visited from 973 cities, from all over Brazil and 354 international visitors from 13 countries.

2.0 Stall details:

Minimum size of the standard booth is 9 sq.mtrs. with standard accessories. Additional sq. mtrs in multiples of 3 sq.mtrs.

3.0 Participation fee:

3.1 Payment:

Interested members are requested to send their initial participation fee of 50% of total participation charges for the required space along with
application(application form downloadable from

receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.Payment may please be made through RTGS transfer to the following account of the
Council :

Payment can also be made through Demand Draft / at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if RTGS payment
is not feasible. Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.

3.2 Grant Details:

• HEPC has received approval to participate in this fair under Market Development Assistance scheme of Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce &
  Industry, Government of India.
• Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular
  trade fair (including past cases).
• As a privilege for handloom sector, member participants with annual export turnover of less than Rs.30 crore in the preceding year and having 12 months
  old membership with the Council will be eligible for MDA grant of Rs.2,50,000/- (space rent + Air fare).
• The grant will be reimbursed to the participants on completion of the event and upon submission of all relevant documents.

Participation in only one event in a calendar month is allowed.

4.0 Selection Criteria:

Applications received without payment will be invalid. Selection of participants will be considered on First come First Serve basis. However, preference
will be given to first time participant of handloom products, so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (three) first time member exhibitors in the
event provided their applications are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

Priority will be given to India Handloom Brand Registered Holders.
