Heimtextil is the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles and the global benchmark for quality design textiles of innovative functionality. Held early in the year, in January, Heimtextil is the annual starting point for manufacturers and trade visitors from all over the world and the foremost global-orientation event. Trade visitors from all continents attend Heimtextil to find new suppliers for all qualities and product groups. Pioneering innovations and the latest trends form the basis for new collections and changes in demand behavior.
Report of Heimtextil 2016 :

Council under Market Access Initiative Scheme (MAI) of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India organized participation of 54 member exporters in Heimtextil fair held at Frankfurt, Germany during January 12-15, 2016. Over 69,000 trade visitors (2015: 67,861) and 2,866 exhibitors (2015: 2,723) from across the world participated in the event. Out of 2867 exhibitors, Germany had 318 exhibitors and remaining 2549 were from overseas countries thus constituting about 89% international participation. As per the feedback from the HEPC’s participants, business worth around Rs.70.20 crore was generated (Rs.15.12 crore spot order and Rs.55.08 crore business enquiries) during the event. 979 trade visitors reportedly visited Councils participants.

Heimtextil 2017

HEPC has been organizing participation in Heimtextil for more than 2 decades. Participation in Heimtextil 2017 is proposed by taking raw space directly from the fair authority and building the stands.
Fair Dates : 10th 13th January 2017
Venue : Messe Frankfurt Exhibition grounds, Frankfurt

Kindly make sure that 70% of your product display in the booth should be according to the hall preference indicated by you.

Council is offering both raw space as well as standard constructed booth for participation in this event.

- No other grants are permissible since the participation is organized under MAI scheme

Grant Eligibility:

a�? HEPC has proposed participation in this fair under MAI Scheme.
a�? Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).
a�? Maximum of two MAI events in a year is allowed for each member participant.
a�? Participation in only one event in a calendar month is allowed.
a�? No other subsidy including travel grant is permissible.
a�? No limitation in terms of export turnover.

Selection Criteria:
Selection of participants will be considered on First come First Serve basis. However, preference will be given to first time member participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 33% (i.e.,Seventeen) first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications are received on or before the due date i.e., 31-05-2016.

Payment details:

Interested member exporters of handloom products may send their initial participation fee of 50% of total participation charges for the required space along with application ( application downloadable from http://homesite.hepcindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Application-FORM-International-2016-17-.pdf ) to the council on or before 31/05/2016.

Payment can also be made through Demand Draft/ at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if RTGS payment is not feasible. Application received without payment will be invalid.
Please be noted that your application should have the following mandatory informations :
1. Area required in sq.mtrs.
2. Type of space (raw space / standard constructed booth)
3. Hall No.(6.3 / 10.3) as per your product profile

Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC
Allotment will be considered on First Come First Serve basis. Last date for receipt of application & advance payment is 31/05/2016.
