Sub: Meeting to discuss RCEP matters -reg.

Sir/Madam,

We have been informed by Ministry of Textiles that a meeting is scheduled on 02.09.2015 at New Delhi under the Chairpersonship of Joint Secretary (Exports), Ministry of Textiles to discuss the following issues:-

a. Tariff lines on which India can make an initial offer (at Indias HS 8 digit level)
b. Tariff lines on other RCEP countries on which India should seek tariff elimination or reduction (at the RCEP countrys national HS tariff line)
c. Rules of Origin (at the HS 6 digit level)

Members are requested to kindly provide points on the above by September 1, 2015 for onward transmission to the Government.
