Heimtextil is the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles and the global benchmark for quality design textiles of innovative functionality. Held early in the year, in January, Heimtextil is the annual starting point for manufacturers and trade visitors from all over the world and the foremost global-orientation event. Trade visitors from all continents attend Heimtextil to find new suppliers for all qualities and product groups. Pioneering innovations and the latest trends form the basis for new collections and changes in demand behavior.
Report of Heimtextil 2015 :
Council under Market Access Initiative Scheme (MAI) of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India organized participation of 50 member exporters in Heimtextil fair held at Frankfurt, Germany during January 14-17, 2015. Heimtextil 2015 had an increase of around three percent in the number of visitors over the previous year. More than 68,000 trade visitors (2014*: 66,265) visited the event, 2,759 exhibitors from 68 countries (2014: 2,714 from 62 countries) exhibited in the event. The further increase in the level of internationality from 87 to 88 percent on the exhibitor side and from 67 to 68 percent on the visitor side also ranks as a success factor for the trade fair. There were large increase in the number of European visitors particulars from Great Britain, Italy and Spain. From the Arabian Peninsula, more visitors came from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. More visitors also came to Frankfurt from overseas nations, such as Japan and the USA.
As per feedback received from exhibitors under the aegis of HEPC, spot order worth of Rs.10.91 crore and business enquiries worth of Rs.75.38 crore were generated during the event.

HEPC has been organizing participation in Heimtextil for more than 2 decades. Participation in Heimtextil 2016 is proposed by taking raw space directly from the fair authority and building the stands.

- No other grants are permissible since the participation is organized under MAI scheme
Hence, interested Member exporters are requested to send 50% participation fee as per their space requirement on any of the above Category ( Standard booth or raw space) / Hall (6.3/10.3 ) along with Application Form and Terms & conditions ( click and download the international application and terms & conditions ( http://homesite.hepcindia.com/forms.php) duly signed along with D.D./Multi-city cheque for the requisite amount favoring a�?Handloom Export Promotion Councila�?, payable at Chennai, on or before 15.06.2015. Advance once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Please be noted that your application should have the following mandatory informations :

Out of the proposed 50 booths in this event under the aegis of Council, 25 booths have already been sold out and the remaining space is also getting filled-up. Hence, to avoid any disappointment of non availability of space, you are requested to rush your application immediately to Council to ensure a space for participation in Heimtextil 2016.
