Sub: Trade delegation of Handloom exporter to Japan during October 2016-reg.

Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India is proposing to launch India Handloom Brand in Japan during the visit of VVIP in the month of November 2016.

In this context, it is proposed to organise the visit of a trade delegation of about 4-5 exporters of handloom products to Japan during 2^nd week of October 2016. During the delegation visit, it is proposed to organise one to one meeting with importers/retail chain stores/Buying Houses in Japan in coordination with embassy of India in Japan. The meeting will be arranged at a prefixed time slot spread over 2 to 3 days. Any business orders finalised during delegation visit will be inked during the visit of VVIP during November 2016.
